Adrian Werum

is the founder, composer and conductor of the „Orchester der Kulturen“ www.orchesterderkulturen.de, which is a world-wide unique eclectic ensemble of ethnic and classical instruments. The orchestra is the winner of the prestigious Manfred-Rommel prize. Current recording projects are a CD with Lama Tenzin Sangpo, SWR German national radio and Indonesian jazz-pianist Deviana Daudsja. „Symphonic tales of Indonesia“ is nominated 3 times for the Indonesian music award AMI in 2015. Upcoming concerts include renowned mezzo-soprano Angelika Kirchschlager and Jay Alexander as well as commissioned symphonies by SIXT rental cars. Adrian produced and arranged Jay Alexander’s CD „Geh aus mein Herz“, which climbed repeatedly to number 1 of the German classic charts in 2015. He is also the composer, orchestrator and lyricist of the operetta „Hollywood Diva“ which is running with Dimitri Petzov and Olga Drosdova at the theater for musical comedy in St. Petersburg since 2014. Other works for the stage inlcude „Sirenen der Heimat“ for the city of Sindelfingen in 2013 ( composer / orchestrator / lyricist / conductor ) and two operas with refugees in 2016 and a new symphony for the city of Bad Urach. He worked as musical supervisor for Frank Wildhorn’s „Carmen“ in Prague and „Tears of Heaven“ in Korea. Adrian is one of the most experienced Musical Directors nationally and internationally. His roster of shows include „ Ich war noch niemals in New York“, „Dance of the Vampires“ (Vienna, Stuttgart, New York) , „42nd Street“, „Mamma Mia“ , „Beauty and the Beast“ , „Grease“ and many more.
