Floor Krijnen

Born in The Netherlands, Floor’s singing career started at a young age. Over the course of a 10-year period she played in numerous small musical productions, as well as Pop Music projects.

After reaching the semi-finals in the talent show Popstars, Floor enlisted in the Musical department of the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg in 2009. Encouraged to receive singing lessons from Edward Hoepelman, she switched to the Music Theatre department of the Fontys Conservatory two years later.

Besides playing numerous roles in school productions such as Lucy in JECKYL & HYDE, Elisabeth Winthrop in GHOSTTRAIN, she widened her horizon by taking masterclasses (Maaike Boerdam, Maya Hakvoort, Koen van Dijk, Paul Eenens and others), and explored new grounds alongside the musical genre by joining the pop music vocal group FOUR FUN.

In 2013 she graduated Music Theatre at the  Fontys Conservatory Cum Laude.

Having obtained a certificate for Vocal Coaching, Floor worked as a singing teacher at different schools such as FANWORK MUSICALS and UTRECHT CENTRUM VOOR DE KUNSTEN in 2013, and played her first role as Anita in West Side Story during the 125th anniversary of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

The year 2014 was distinguished by a move to Germany in order star in the 3 MUSKETIERE – TOUR by MiGa Entertainment as Ensemble and Alternate Milady de Winter.

Floor moved to Vienna in 2015 to be a Swing in MOZART! by Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) in the Raimund Theater. During MOZART! she participated in numerous projects by VBW, such as A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS, MUSICAL MEETS OPERA and MESSIAH ROCKS, staged by Alex Balga.

After finishing her first en-suite production, Floor returned to Germany joining the Ensemble and covering the role of Michelle in SISTER ACT – TOUR by Stage Entertainment. Having played in Berlin’s Theater des Westens, the Rhein-Main Theater in Niedernhausen and the Deutsches Theater in München, Floor once again moved to Vienna to star in the currently running TANZ DER VAMPIRE in the Ronacher Theater, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the show. She can be seen both as Cover of Rebecca (Sarah’s mother) and in the Ensemble until June 2018.
