Jeroen Phaff

studied classical singing in Tilburg (NL). Last he could be seen in the world premiere of PETER PAN, THE REAL STORY,  CHAPLIN, THE MUSICAL and in WICKIE. He performed in the premieres of THE VISIT both in Vienna and Thun (CH). Before he created Kerchak in the European premiere of TARZAN in the Netherlands. He portrayed Anatoli in CHESS and the Lion in THE WIZ. Also in the NL the audience could experience him as Pilates and Judas in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and as Scar in THE LION KING. In Germany he took over the role of Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, after playing Zoser in Elton John’s AIDA in the NL. He created the role of Ferluci in the world premiere of the musical DE GRIEZELBUS (award for „Best Actor in a Supporting Role 2002“ in the Netherlands).
He was Emperor Franz Joseph in the NL premiere of ELISABETH and in Essen. In Vienna he starred in the world premiere of DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, alternating the role of Count von Krolock.
In the Netherlands, he was Peron in EVITA and Raoul in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. His German debut was as the bishop in LES MISERABLES in Duisburg.
In the classical field he sang among others the „St. Matthew Passion“ and Mozart’s „Requiem“.
