Johannes Glück

Johannes is a musical theatre graduate from the Vienna Conservatory. He studied acting with Isabella Fritdum and Wolfgang Groller and voice with Ingrid Olofsson, Regina Schörg and Sebastian Vittucci. Since 1993 he has been performing in theatre, musical, operetta and opera. He had engagements at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, Stadttheater St. Pölten, Sommerarena Baden, Wiener Metropol and Kabarett Simpl. Being a very versatile actor and singer he appeared in roles as diverse as Scipio in Albert Camus‘ Caligula, Robert Biberti in Achtung. Selten. Die Comedian Harmonists, Rolf in Sound of Music and Papageno in Mozart’s Magic Flute. 2015 Johannes joined the cast of Mozart! as Emanuel Schikaneder at Raimundtheater, Vienna.

With Dieter Hörmann he founded the singer/songwriter duo Zwa Voitrottln. They won the talent show Die große Comedy Chance on Austrian TV in 2012 performing their hit song Fuck se Energiesparlampe and have since been touring Austria and Germany with their shows Hörglück and Kifferglück.

Johannes writes lyrics in German and English, composes, arranges and orchestrates music, plays the piano and has some experience as puppeteer, being an alumnus of the John Tartaglia Puppetry Master Class (New York City, 2005) and having played Dagobert and Großvati in Krawutzi Kaputzi! (2010). He is also a voiceover artist for commercials, corporate movies and software.
