Mark Seibert

was trained at the Conservatory of Vienna, the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute NY and had the privilege to be awarded a scholarship for the Royal Academy of Music in London. He performed in WEST SIDE STORY (Bregenz Festival /Austria), was Willard in FOOTLOOSE, Pygar in the world premiere of Dave Stewart’s BARBARELLA (Vienna), Tybalt in ROMEO & JULIA (Vienna) and Radames in Elton John’s & Tim Rice’s AIDA (Germany). In the german premiere of WICKED Mark starred as Fiyero. He created the role of Ranger in the world premiere of the musical DER SCHUH DES MANITU (Berlin) which is based on one of Germany’s most successful movies and was Galileo in WE WILL ROCK YOU (Berlin & Stuttgart, Germany). He played the role of Death (Tod) in ELISABETH (Germany) and in Vienna 2012/13. 2013/14 he starred as Jesus in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in Germany and created the role of Lancelot in the world premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s ARTUS – EXCALIBUR in Switzerland. Afterwards he played the role of Colloredo in Vienna‘s musical success MOZART! and then Count Krolock in DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES in Berlin, Germany. Afterwards he could be seen in the world premiere production of Stephen Schwartz’s SCHIKANEDER in the role of Emanuel Schikaneder in Vienna, followed by Count Krolock in DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES in Stuttgart, Germany and Vienna, Austria. In summer 2018 he played Gerold in POPE JOAN in Fulda, Germany followed by Clyde Barrow in the Austrian premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s BONNIE & CLYDE in Baden/ Vienna, Austria. Last he could be seen as Edward in the German language premiere of PRETTY WOMAN in Hamburg. Apart from his theater career Mark is very proud of his two solo CD’s „Musicalballads Unplugged“ and „With You“.
