Mathias Edenborn

was born in Kiruna, Sweden and graduated from the School of Arts and Kulturama at the Royal Musical Academy in Stockholm. During his studies he played Tony in WEST SIDE STORY. He started his career in Germany as Nightmare-Solo and Cover Count von Krolock in the Stuttgart production of DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES. He created the role of ‘Radames’ in the Europan premiere of Elton John’s AIDA in Essen, Germany. Further: ‘Benvolio’ in ROMEO AND JULIET (Gérard Presgurvic) in Vienna, Javert in LES MISERABLES in St. Gallen, Switzerland, Fiyero in WICKED – The Witches of OZ in Stuttgart and Oberhausen.  He created the role of Margrave Gerold at the world premiere of the musical POPE JOAN in Fulda, Axel Staudach in I’VE NEVER BEEN TO NEW YORK at Theater 11 in Zurich, Switzerland, The Phantom in the Anniversary Production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA  in Hamburg. Afterwards he could be seen as The Phantom, u/s Raoul in Webber’s Phantom sequel LOVE NEVER DIES in Hamburg. At the moment he plays Count von Krolock in DANCE OT THE VAMPIRES in Stuttgart.
