The American Tenor Previn Moore came from his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio to Europe in 1989 after studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and a two year engagement at the Virginia Opera in Norfolk, Virginia. After a five year contract at the Theater in Lüneburg, Germany, performing roles in opera, operetta and musical, Previn became freelance and sang in many german theaters. Theater Des Westens in Berlin, Groschenoper in Frankfurt, theaters in Leipzig and Halle, and Gärtnerplatz Theater in Munich to name a few, performing such diverse roles as in „Jesus Christ Superstar“ (Judas and Herod), „La Cage aux Folles“ (Jacob), „Hair“ (Ron), „Evita“ (Magaldi), „Ain‘t Misbehavin‘“ (Ken), „Carmina Burana“ (The Dying Swan), „The Magic Flute“ (Monostatos), „Orpheus in The Underworld“ (John Styx). Previn has performed extensively in theaters and at summer festivals in Austria, including Styriarte and La Strada, Operahouse in Graz, Volksoper in Vienna, and Theater St.Gallen in Switzerland. He has sung and worked with such names as Stephen Schwartz, Sir Trevor Nunn and Nikolaus Harnoncourt. Aside from performing , Previn enjoys a Professorship at the Konservatorium in Vienna mentoring young Artists and giving master classes and workshops.
