Riccardo Greco

Riccardo won a scholarship for the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg and was a finalist in the Bundesgesangswettbewrb (German national singing competition). He played ‘Sky’ in MAMMA MIA Berlin, ‘Alfred’ in DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES in Oberhausen and Stuttgart, u/s’ Lucheni’ in ELISABETH, u/s ‘Eddie Fritzinger’, ‘TJ’ and ‘Erkan’ in SISTER ACT in Vienna; Kenickie and u/s Danny in GREASE at the Ronacher Theater Vienna, ‘ Simon’ and ‘Peter’ in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Musical Summer Amstetten, ‘Sonny’ in XANADU and ‘Nick’ in FLASHDANCE, ‘young Alfred” in THE VISIT at the Ronacher Vienna. Riccardo is a member of the acclaimed Musical Ensemble Linz since 2014 and played ‘Peter’ in Stephen Sondheim’s COMPANY, ‘Enjolras’ in LES MISÉRABLES, ‘Tommy’ in The Who’s TOMMY, ‘Hedwig’ in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH,  ‘The Wolf/ Rapunzel’s Prince‘ in INTO THE WOODS, ‘Punch’ in the world premiere of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS,  ‘Malcolm McGregor’ in THE FULL MONTY, ‚Rach‘ in the European premier of PRÈLUDES and ‚Sam‘ in the German – language premier of GHOST, ‚Edna Turnblad‘ in HAIRSPRAY , ‚Mr Wormold‘ in BETTY BLUE EYES, ‚Giuseppe Zangara‘ in ASSASSINS and ‚Newton‘ in LAZARUS. In Bad Hersfeld he played the role of ‚Berger‘ in HAIR in summer 2018 and afterwards he could be seen again as ‚Sam‘ in GHOST – this time in Hamburg. Afterward he played ‚Tate‘ in RAGTIME and ‚Viktor von Ephrussi‘ in the world premiere of THE HARE WITH AMBER EYES in Linz, Austria. Next he could be seen as  ‚Frank Abagnele Jr.‘ in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN in Darmstadt, Germany and from November 2019 he re-visited the role of ‚Sam‘ in GHOST in Stuttgart, Germany. Since spring 2021 he plays ‚Jesus‘ in  JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in St. Gallen, Switzerland and 2021 he was on tour through Germany, Switzerland and Austria as Galileo in WE WILL ROCK YOU. He ist currently performing the role of Christian in the German premier of MOULIN ROUGE.

Riccardo was part of a concert of composer Scott Alan’s at London’s “O2 Arena”. He is also known through the German TV casting show “Me Tarzan. You Jane!”.
