Navina Heyne

Navina Heyne was born in Berlin/Germany and studied Musical Theater at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich. To perform different styles and genres is her specialty.

She got leading parts in German premieres like ROCK OF AGES (Sherrie), BONNIE & CLYDE (Blanche) and SIDE SHOW (Daisy) and in her favorite shows SPAMALOT (Lady of the Lake) and CHESS (Florence). For the last one she was distinguished with the ‚Roswitha-Ring‘ for best actress. She could be seen in Frank Wildhorn’s DRACULA (Lucy) in Ulm (DVD, CD), Germany and as Mathilde Ill in THE VISIT (Besuch der Alten Dame) in Tecklenburg. Germany

She was part of other famous shows like LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (Petra), 3 MUSKETEERS (Queen Anna), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Chrystal), HAIR (Jeannie), MAN OF LA MANCHA (Maria), SWEET CHARITY (Ursula), LEND ME A TENOR (Othello darf nicht platzen – Diana) and more.

Over the years she experienced different world premieres in Germany, for example Rosamunde Pilcher’s WECHSELSPIEL DER LIEBE (Flora), DAS MOLEKÜL (Rosalind) and LUTHER – REBELL GOTTES (Katharina).

With two One Woman Shows (Lars von Trier’s DANCER IN THE DARK and SWING MR. JURMANN) she showed her versatility and the love of being creative.

In 2012 Navina was a semi-finalist at the international Lotte Lenya Competition New York.
