Malcolm Henry

Being born the son of a musical performer and a ballerina, Malcolm Henry came in contact and fell in love with music and theatre at an early age, taking his first steps on stage in various youth-musical-companies in his hometown of Vienna, Austria between the ages of 9 and 16.

During his studies at the „MuK“ University in Vienna, Malcolm was part of productions like Bernstein’s „Mass“ and the German premiere of BE MORE CHILL obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in musical theatre in 2021.

He has since been working in Germany, Austria and Sitzerland, originating the role of Stevie in the world premiere of THE WAVE (Landestheater Linz) earning him a nomination for „Best Actor in a Supporting Role“ at the German Musical Theatre Awards (Deutscher Musiktheater Preis), playing Rocky in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW in Germany and Austria, Bernardo in WEST SIDE STORY at Landesbühnen Sachsen and Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall, Seaweed in HAIRSPRAY in Nuremberg ,Bremerhaven and Schwäbisch Hall, KitKat Boy in „CABARET“ in Hamburg , Burak and Zeki in the FACK JU GÖHTE tours 2022 – 2024 and Gaston (Gustaf) in the touring production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in 2025. In 2026 he appears as Peter in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR during the 2025/26 season at Bühnen Bern, Switzerland.

In addition to his theater work, Malcolm Henry also appears on screen, including in the Amazon Prime series „Luden“ and in a recurring role in the ZDFneo production „Ich dich auch“. In 2022, he was part of „Hollywood in Vienna“ at the Vienna Konzerthaus alongside Alan Menken and the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna.
