Dorina Garuci

Dorina Garuci was born in 1993 and finished high school for music, majoring for Violin.

She is the winner of the Albanian Pop Kids and runner-up of Pop Idol Albania.

She graduated in musical theatre with honours in 2016 (MUK , Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Austria) During her studies she performed in live shows and tributes in Germany, Austria,  Albania and Hungary.

She starred as „Stephanie“ in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER at Summer Festival Amstetten 2015, as „Lucy“ in JEKYLL & HYDE at Stadttheater Baden in 2016, both in Austria and in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Ronacher Theater in Vienna in 2017. Since December 2017 she  played the role of „Diva“ in the German premiere of PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT in Munich, which was followed by the world premiere of WAHNSINN! in Duisburg, where she created the role of „Gianna“. Afterwards she could be seen as „Bonnie“ in the Austrian premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s BONNIE & CLYDE in Baden, Austria. From November 2018 she played „Anita“ in Leonard Bernstein’s WEST SIDE STORY in Dortmund, a role she reprised at the Opera Bonn. In Switzerland she played Mary Magdalene in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Theater St. Gallen and back in Austria she could be seen as Betty Schaefer in SUNSET BOULEVARD in Baden followed by the role of Carla Albanese in NINE. In Bolzano/ Bozen in Italy she played Magenta in the ROCKY HORROR SHOW and in 2024 she can be seen again as Mary Magdalene in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, this time in Nuremberg, Germany.
