Katharina Gorgi

At the age of seven Katharina received her first vocal and dance training. She attended the music high school in Vienna, studied violin at the „Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst“ (University for Music and Dramatic Arts) and Musical Theatre at the „Musik und Kunst Universität Wien“ (MUK, graduation 2018). At the age of 10 she gave her stage debut in SOUND OF MUSIC as Brigitte and later Louise (Volksoper Vienna). This was followed by engagements in EIN WALZERTRAUM (Liesl), appearances with the children’s choir of the Volksoper and engagements in CAMILO CHAMÄLEON and LAST MIDNIGHT. In 2016 she played Urleen in FOOTLOOSE in Amstetten,  2017 she appeared in GRIMM (Piglet Grimm) and HERE COME THE LOVERS (Amor) at Theater der Jugend and was engaged as Cover Emma Carter at Raimund Theater in Vienna for I AM FROM AUSTRIA. In 2018 she played Sophie in MAMMA MIA (Stage Entertainment Tour and later Theater d. Westens). She played Roxy in ROXY UND IHR WUNDERTEAM (Volksoper Vienna) followed by Rizzo in GREASE at AVB Amstetten and  Soul Girl in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (concert version) at the Raimund Theater in Vienna, Austria. Since October 2023 she can be seen as Isabella in the world premier of ROCK ME AMADEUS, at the Ronacher Theater, again in Vienna.
