Marja Hennicke was born in 1989 in Marl, Germany and graduated in 2014 from the Conservatory of the City Vienna, where she studied Musical.
Within the framework of her studies she already had had appearances in pieces such as RENT, SWINGING ST. PAULI and ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD at the Conservatory of Vienna and the “Wiener Musikverein”.
Furthermore she played Madame de la Grande Bouche in THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at the Felsenbuehne Staatz and performed as Edith Piaf in NON, JE NE REGRETTE RIEN for the European Classic Festival.
For Iwan Wyrypajew’s first austrian showing of DELHI – A DANCE in the “WUK Projektraum” she acted as Olga.
After her academic studies she was casted as “Frau Holle” for the first german adaption of SHREK – THE MUSICAL and toured through the German speaking countries. She took part at the first German 24 HOUR MUSICAL in Ahrensburg,
During the summer of 2015 one could watch her play her first lead as Tracy Turnblad in HAIRSPRAY at the Stadttheater Baden.
Afterwards she was part of the ensemble of „Don Camillo And Peppone“ in Vienna after its world premiere at the Stadttheater St. Gallen, Switzerland. Afterwards Marja could be seen again in HAIRSRAY as Tracy Turnblad in Dortmund. Afterwards she was cover Rebecca and part of the ensemble of DANCE OF THE VAMIRES at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. Next she could be be seen as part of the ensemble of CHICAGO in Magdeburg, followed by Rebecca in DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, this time in Oberhausen.
