Boris Pfeifer

The Vienna-born actor and singer completed his training at the Vienna Conservatory. Musical engagements followed at home and abroad, including as Chè in „Evita“ (Stadttheater Baden), Judas in „Jesus Christ Superstar“ (Opera Graz/Stadttheater Baden), Mack The Knife in the „The Beggar’s Opera“ (Stadttheater Klagenfurt). At the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien he was engaged as Utterson in „Jekyll & Hyde“ (Theater an der Wien), as Prince of Verona in „Romeo & Juliet“ (Raimundtheater) and as Sam in „Mamma Mia“ (Raimundtheater). He also appeared on stage as Captain von Trapp in „The Sound of Music“ (Graz Opera), as Moonface Martin in „Anything Goes“ (Graz Opera/Munich/St. Gallen), as Cornelius Hackl in „Hello Dolly“ (Lehar Festival Bad Ischl) as Nick Arnstein in „Funny Girl“ (Graz Opera) and as Chip in „On The Town“ (Gärtnerplatztheater Munich/Stadttheater Sankt Gallen).

Followed by operetta engagements, such as Leopold „Im weißen Rössl“ (Lehar Festival Bad Ischl, Stadttheater Baden), Count Boni in „Die Csárdásfürstin“ (Renaissancetheater), Louis Philipp in „Die Bajadere“ (Stadttheater Baden) and Sigismund in „Im weißen Rössl“ (Gärtnerplatztheater Munich). At the same time he  appeared at the Wiener Kammerspiele as Jerry in „Sugar – Some Like it Hot“, Vincent di Ruzzio in „Lucky Stiff“ and in „39 Steps“.

He is regularly engaged at the Volksoper Vienna as Roderich in „Der Vetter aus Dingsda“, Calicot in „Madame Pompadour“, Hysterium in the Sondheim musical „A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum!“, as Brazilian in „Pariser Leben“, as Goldoni in „Vivaldi“ and as Sancho Panza in „The Man From La Mancha“.

He can currently be seen as Jack Favell in Rebecca at the Raimundtheater.
