After graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in the UK in 2000, David embarked upon the European scene as a tri-fold artist: as an actor, a singer/songwriter and a moderator. His German speaking roles include Che in Evita, Javert in Les Misérables, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Bruce J. Ismay in Titanic and the title role of the Beast in the German tour of Beauty and the Beast. In English speaking productions he has played roles such as Claude and Berger in Hair, Riff Raff in the Original West End Production of the Rocky Horror Show, Viktor in Laid Bacharach and Blacklock in The Hired Men. In Swiss German, David has played Fritz Aeberli in the world premiere of the musical Daellenbach Kari at the Thunerseespiele in Thun, Switzerland, as well as in Zurich and Berne. His numerous performances as a solo artist and singer have brought him on stages all over Europe and Australia. He sang, supported by the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Kali Chronia Me Musicals in the Greek Metropole of the same name. He opened his new solo cabaret style concert Relationships in Melbourne, Australia. Accompanied by 80 musicians he sang at the Gymnastics Meets Music event in the sold out Hallenstadion Arena, Switzerland’s biggest music hall. He has also performed several times as a soloist at the KKL in Lucerne, the most highly esteemed music hall of his home country. David also starred in the solo piece “Eine Vision Schafft Werte” for Zeppelin’s 100-year anniversary in Germany. As a moderator he has hosted events for renowned international companies such as Pfizer, Bally, UBS, SAP Research and Hapag Lloyd. His work as a writer and director includes That’s Life and Gefangen, two youth theatre plays and The Ceremony, an English short play, performed at Schiffbau 5 in Zurich, Switzerland.
