Florian Resetarits

Florian was born and raised in Burgenland, Austria. From an early age on he has been exposed to music through his family and participated in a lot of Music Festivals.

He studied at the MUK Vienna where he got a Bachelor and Master degree in performing arts and education. During his education he played roles such as Frederick Egermann in A little night music, Elisha Whitney in Anything Goes or the Modern Major General in The Pirates of Penzance.

His professional debut came in 2013 with the Leharfestival Bad Ischl where he played roles such as Rudolph in Hello Dolly, Gaston in Gigi, Freddy in My Fair Lady and Dr Blind in Die Fledermaus (The Bat).

He has also been member of Musical Güssing from an early age on where he played roles such as Ché in Evita, Jekyll and Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde or Conférencier in Cabaret.

He participated in Classical Concerts such as the Schubertiade in Schubert´s birth house or Christmas Concerts with the Pannonische Philharmonie conducted by Prof. Alois Hochstrasser.

In 2017 he went to Shanghai for 6 weeks as part of the Mozart Cast from the Vienna Production produced by Labelle. In 2017 he gave his debut at the Ronacher Theater as Koukol in Dance Of The Vampires. Afterwards he could be seen in the Austrian premier of Frank Wildhorn’s Bonnie & Clyde in Baden, followed by Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert (Priest), again at the Ronacher in Vienna, which he repeated in 2019 and 2023. He played Little Jon in Robin Hood, Nachum, Yussel and Sheftel in Anatevka and Manfred/ Sheldrake in Sunset Boulevard in Baden followed by Dr. Seward / cover Dracula in Dracula at Deutsches Theater in Munich, Germany. Most recently he could be seen in Hair, again at Deutsches Theater München and in Odysseus as Leocritus, the blind seer Teresias and a suitor in Baden followed by William Murdoch and First Mate in Titanic.
