Martin Berger

Born in Vienna, he graduated with distinction from the Musik und Kunst Privat University of the City of Vienna, formerly the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien (Conservatory), and has since found his home on national and international stages in musical theater and acting. Martin Berger has been on stage for over 25 years as a leading actor in many productions by renowned directors such as Harold Prince (Kander/Ebb: Kiss of the Spider Woman), Roman Polanski (Steinman/Kunze: Dance of the Vampires) or Ben Elton (Queen/Elton: We will rock You). He has appeared as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Chris in Miss Saigon, Count von Krolock in Dance of the Vampires, Commander Khashoggi in We Will Rock You, Max Bialystock in The Producers, Old Deuteronimus in Cats, Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, Professor Higgins in My Fair Lady, Doc in West Side Story, Hombre in Schuh des Manitu, Giulio in I Feel Love, Isidor Straus in Titanic, Count Friedrich Zeppelin in Zeppelin – The Musical , Archdeacon Claude Frollo and  Father Daupin in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame and Thomas Andrews and Isidor Strauss in Titanic.
