In no time, Patrick Stanke became a popular and successful musical performer in Germany. He embodied the role of the heater Frederick Barrett in the German premiere of “Titanic – Das Musical”, before he played the leading role of the Egyptian military leader Radames in the hit musical “Aida” from Elton John. Subsequently, he made himself a nationwide name as D’Artagnan in the German premiere of “3 Musketeers” at the “Theater des Westens” in Berlin, for which he was nominated in the category „Best Actor “ for the Golden Curtain in 2005. He could be seen in theaters at home (Germany) and abroad in the following productions: The Last Five Years (Jamie), Little Shop of Horrors (Dentist Orin; he lent the plant Audrey II his voice), Mozart! In addition to his stage commitments, the certified musical performer is a wanted soloist for concerts and galas. He is one of the founding members of the Musical Tenors. His solo concert series “Stanke ohne Strom” has reached cult status among fans.
Two solo CDs of the audience favorite are already published: 2009 the album “Ich bin Musik” and in 2014 his second album “Role of a Lifetime”.
Since 2008, Patrick Stanke is also active as a director. He directed among others the musicals “The Little Shop of Horrors”, “Hair”, “Hairspray”, “La Cage aux Folles”, “3 Musketeers” and the bestseller novel “Pinguinwetter”.
