Born and raised in Zurich, Sascha began his artistic career as a Latin dancer. In his first year he won the second prize at the Swiss National Championship. While studying at the Bavarian Theatre Academy in Munich, he could be seen in roles like Ernst in Spring Awakening at the Deutsches Theater in Munich, as Hippolytos in Racine’s play Phädra at the Landestheater Schwaben, or 3rd Slave in the Magic Flute at the Salzburg Festival.
After graduating with honors he played Bernardo in West Side Story in Regensburg and Bill Calhoun in Kiss me Kate at the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele.
Sascha was also seen as Orfée in Jean Cocteau’s play Orfée, leading actor in Brecht’s Ozeanflug and curiously as Dracula and Van Helsing in Wildhorn’s Dracula in the Akademietheater in Munich. He played Fame at the Opera Basel in Switzerland, Joe in Flashdance and Don Lockwood in Singing in the Rain at the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel. Sascha was also part of the german premiering cast of Bodyguard – The Musical in Cologne. Afterwards he played Bernardo in the West Side Story in Magdeburg, Germany – a role he revisited at the Opera in Dortmund, Germany, followed by Eddie Souther in SISTER ACT in Wunsiedel and Toni Manero in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER in Darmstadt, both in Germany. Since January 2023 he playes Ludwig and is part of the ensemble of PIPPIN at the Staatsoperette Dresden, Germany.
