Til Ormeloh was brought up in Münster, Germany, where his passion for the stage blossomed from an early age:
During his school years, he became a member of the Young Ensemble Münster. Alongside that he developed his skills in singing, dancing, and acting at the Westfälische Schule für Musik. He took part in many productions at Theater Münster, such as FOOTLOOSE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and BRAVE NEW WORLD. In 2019, he captivated audiences with his portrayal of Melchior Gabor in Duncan Sheik’s SPRING AWAKENING.
In 2020 he started studying musical theater at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.
Throughout his academic journey, he brought characters to life, including Frederic Barrett in TITANIC and Romeo in Nele Schillo’s re-imagining of ROMEO AND JULIET.
In the 2022/23 season, he was a part of the Ensemble at Opera Dortmund as Max in Gil Mehmert’s rendition of CABARET and originated the role of Alexander Schmorell in the new musical DIE WEISSE ROSE (The White Rose) by Vera Bolten and Alex Melcher.
Last he could be seen as ensemble and cover Roger in RENT at Opera Dortmund while also portraying Judas in Andreas Gergen’s rendition of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Staatstheater Nürnberg. During the summer of 2024 he played Ché in EVITA in Ettlingen, Germany, which will be followed by WOYCECK (Crier, Andres, Drum Major) at the renowned Semper Oper in Dresden and LES MISERABLES at Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich.
