Til Ormeloh was born in Münster and is based in Vienna.
He studied at the renowned Folkwang University of the Arts. During his studies, he appeared in several productions at various german theatres. Among others, he performed as Max in Cabaret and as Ensemble/Roger(cv.) in Rent under the direction of Gil Mehmert. In 2023, he celebrated his premiere as Romeo in Nele Schillo’s new production of Romeo and Juliet and created the role of Alexander Schmorell in the musical Die Weiße Rose, which went on to receive the German Musical Award 2025, including the award for Best Musical.
While still a student, Til made his professional debut as Judas in Andreas Gergen’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar at Staatstheater Nürnberg.
At Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen, he thrilled audiences as Che in Evita and was honoured with the Kurt Müller-Graf Prize for his performance. Further engagements took him to the Semperoper Dresden and the Gärtnerplatztheater Munich.
In 2025, Til appeared as Roger Davis in Rent at the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen.
That same summer, he performed at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg, playing Frederic Barrett in Titanic and Jimmy in Priscilla, directed by Ulrich Wiggers.
Til plays guitar, bass, and piano, and enjoys making music in various bands as both a singer and instrumentalist.
